Job Description
Kapcharge is seeking an ambitious, motivated self-starter passionate about sales and working in tech. We’re growing and looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team, spread our brand message and attract new customers. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Kapcharge, you’ll play a critical role in driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential B2B clients across industries such as lending, property management, automotive, education, healthcare, insurance, and e-commerce. You’ll work closely with our Account Executives and Marketing team to create opportunities that fuel our sales pipeline and help more businesses modernize their payment processing.
Responsibilities
- Identify target accounts and key decision-makers using Salesforce and sales intelligence tools.
- Execute multi-channel outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to engage prospects. Timely follow-up on inbound web and chat leads.
- Understand each prospect’s payment processing environment, challenges, and goals to determine fit.
- Schedule discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives with qualified prospects.
- Partner with marketing to refine messaging and campaigns that drive high-quality leads.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and pipeline stages in Salesforce.
- Stay current on industry trends, compliance requirements (e.g. EFT, Interac, ACH, open banking), and competitor offerings
We are excited about you if you have
- 1–5 years of experience in B2B, preferably within fintech, SaaS, payments, or financial services.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and active listening. Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
- Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, Operations Leaders, IT Leaders, etc.).
- Experience using Salesforce, Marketing Automation tools, Microsoft Suite and other productivity-enhancing technologies.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity about financial technology, digital payments, and open banking innovations.
