Job Description

Kapcharge is seeking a seasoned IT and System Support Administrator with expertise in providing technical support for hardware, software, and security, as well as administering M365 and Azure, developing back-office automation, and assisting with functional testing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting workstations, network, printers and telephones.
  • Managing the Helpdesk to support end-users with their technical needs.
  • Administering and managing M365 services (Exchange Online and Teams).
  • IT onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Procuring and managing several software applications needed by internal teams.
  • Working with various IT and software vendors.
  • Maintaining both hardware and software inventory.
  • Developing and enforcing retention and backup policies for company files and applications.
  • Ensuring the security of hardware and software systems by administering antiviruses, managing and creating security policies and roadmaps.
  • Developing dashboards and automation needs based on Microsoft Teams in cooperation with the Product and Development teams, as well as using Power Platforms.
  • Assisting the Development Team with functional testing and other technical tasks as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent education.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in IT administration, Microsoft 365, and system support.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services, Exchange Online, IP phones, and Atlassian.
  • Familiarity with security administration and antivirus management.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure and SQL Server administration.
  • Experience with Azure platforms as a service component.
  • Ability to work in an on-call environment.
  • Passionate about handling business needs in an innovative and proactive technological manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop dashboards and automate tasks with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Proficient in scripting languages, Powershell and Python.
  • Experience with functional testing, .NET code.
  • Experience with electronic payments, payment processing, and PCI.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.

Job Type

Full-time, onsite at our Montreal office (steps from Du College metro station).
